How long do you think sex should last? Well, according to a study that was published by the Journal of Sexual Medicine, couples, on average, should last anywhere between 7-10 minutes. This is considered to be the norm and collectively, the participants in the study do agree with this.

Anything lower than the aforementioned timeframe is considered ‘too short’ while anything that is above that is considered ‘too long’. Do not believe what you see in porn videos as well since most of the men there are forced to last a very long time. Sex, in actuality, lasts between 5-15 minutes. But, some men will not last more than 2 minutes, thanks to premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction.

Despite the above-mentioned conditions, men need not be sad as there are things that they can do to help keep those conditions at bay. One is by taking male enhancement pills. Another one is by eating the right foods.

Fenugreek

Trigonella Foenum-Graecum or more commonly known as Fenugreek is a spice that, according to a clinical study from Australia, is known to increase sexual arousal and boosts orgasm in both men and women.

Researchers still do not know exactly what makes this spice improve orgasms but they’ve assumed that it is because of its active compounds known as saponins, which may have an impact on a person’s hormone levels.

Beet Juice

The juice that is extracted from beets is known to improve sexual stamina thanks to its rich nitrate content. Nitrates help reduce oxygen reuptake which means that when you do something strenuous or anything that increases your heart rate, it will not make you more tired than usual.
Nitrates, when it reaches the body, are converted to nitric oxide which is known to help relax your blood vessels and open them up for optimal blood flow throughout your body.

Pomegranates

Erectile dysfunction can affect one in ten men all over the world. That being said, there are foods that are found to have a profound impact on a man’s ability to maintain an erection.

Pomegranate juice was given to some participants in a study that was published by the International Journal of Impotence Research. The findings were that the men who took the juice have vast improvements in their ability to maintain erections than those who just received a placebo. If you are going to drink pomegranate juice, opt for the more natural one that doesn’t contain any preservatives or additives.

Nuts

One of the best snack foods out there, nuts contains some B-vitamins, protein, and certain amino acids that can help a man improve his erection. L-arginine is an amino acid that is found in certain nuts like Pistachios and Brazil nuts, which is known as a vasodilator. What this means is that it actually helps improve blood flow towards your penis since it helps dilate the blood vessels near the area in question.
